Well, what does a Hertford Accountant write in his first Blog post?

Accountant in Hertfordshire…. boring?

Well no, not all of us can be painted with that brush, some of us do have a sense of humour, and I’d like to bring that out in this and future blogs, as well as providing some information which clients and visitors to my website may find, well, interesting.

On the humour front, you may remember Monty Python’s Flying Circus and there is a brilliant sketch on YouTube about Mr Anchovy – an accountant who is seeking to change profession. Have a look and enjoy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMOmB1q8W4Y.

Personally I’ll leave the lion taming to Michael Palin, as I don’t fancy the flashing hat and not all of us are as desperately dull like Mr Anchovy. It is a sketch that has blighted accountants for decades – well, those that don’t have a sense of humour that is.
